Cover letter from Astrocade, Inc.: 11 May 1982 Bob, Can you use some of this young man's ideas? He seems to come up with quite a few of them. Kathy Dear Brett Bilbrey, This is Greg Hanson again, I received your letter April 29, and you said to keep thinking up some more games. Well I have one. It is called "Donkey Kong II." Instead of starting from just a "Donkey Kong" board, you must go through a maze (something like Rally-X) picking up clues (a slipper, a lock of hair, a hair ribbon, and a purse), but you have to watch out for dragons in some parts of the maze. When you get out of the maze, there is a "Donkey Kong" board, you have to avoid the same things but when you get the girl instead of King Kong bringing her up again, you bring her down the board, through the maze and back home. Then it starts over again. If you think you can use this idea please write back, then I will send you the maze you have to go through (the first "Donkey Kong" board). Then if you can send me the blueprints on how to make the chip my father can make the chip at no cost, because he works with computers every day and he has made chips before. If you can't use the Idea please write back and tell me why. Truly, Greg Hanson P.S. Can you please tell me when the Bally Arcade will come out with Pac-man?
