AstroBUGS Newsletter (October 1982) Michigan Astrobugs Newsletter
October 1982.

In this six-page edition, there is a one-page article called "The Inside Corner" by Brett Bilbrey. Among many other topics, he mentions that the upcoming "Missile Attack" will be called "Martian Outpost," but that the name will probably changed again. The name did change; it was released as "ICBM Attack." Brett also announces the start of a contest, basing the idea of the one run for the Atari 400/800 computers in the MACE (Michigan Atari Computer Enthusiasts) newsletter.

On March 10, 2015, Brett Bilbrey commented about this AstroBUGS issue. In message #13557, at the Bally Alley Yahoogroup, Brett wrote: "Ah, the MACE Atari contests. I borrowed the idea for the puzzles from them to see how well 'Bally users' could solve the problems...

"I made a bunch of 'Bart' cartoons, but I don't even remember them all... sigh. Only a few made it into the newsletter (maybe that was a good thing).

"I wanted to participate more in the Astrobugs, and the newsletter, but I was graduating college, and finishing programming cartridges, and getting married, and moving to Illinois, and... well, it was a busy time."
